As previously announced, the 72nd biennial convention of the National Association of Letter Carriers will be held Aug. 8-12, 2022, in Chicago, IL. All branch and state association sec- retaries are alerted that the con- vention call and accompanying materials will be mailed from NALC Headquarters this month.

This morning, NRLCA President Ronnie Stutts signed an MOU with the USPS establishing the final timeline for implementation of the Rural Route Evaluated Compensation System. The MOU establishes that data collection for the new RRECS Activity Scans, introduced on February 26, 2022, will be delayed until April 23, 2022.

It is indeed just what it says it is. You count and categorize every single piece of mail your route gets, and that means everything that comes to your route and you touch. So it seems complicated, but the form is not hard to work if someone gives you five minutes training, which we did get before most mail counts.
