How many weeks are in a semester at UT Austin?
Tuesday: Tuition bills for the fall semester distributed to students electronically. Notice is sent to the e-mail address on the student’s record. Last class day for nine-week classes. Last day to drop a nine-week class.
Do UT summer classes count towards GPA?
Unlike community college courses, UT extension courses count towards students’ GPA at UT and can fulfill key university flags and degree requirements.
Do summer classes count towards GPA UT Austin?
They do not count in the semester GPA, and they do not count toward the student’s in-residence hour calculation for most scholarships. Applicability of UEX courses towards degree requirements depends on the policies of the student’s home college or school.
What is fafsa full-time summer?
Once you’ve filled out the FAFSA, your eligibility will be based on other factors that may be more applicable to the summer session. You will need to be registered for classes at least half-time (which is usually six credits) in order to qualify for federal loans for summer classes.
How many classes can you take in the summer UT Austin?
The maximum course load for a graduate student is 12 semester hours in a 12 week summer session.
Can I take 18 hours at UT?
Maximum Semester Hours Students may take a maximum of 17 credit hours in one semester. If a student wishes to carry more than 17 hours, approval is required in the Dean’s Office (WCH 1.106). During summer a student can take up to 14 hours with no more than 8 hours in either summer session.
